Apparently get some good cruises in the North Sea round Norway but bloody expensive. I do still fancy one though

Bloody true, chico!. And the most expensive place on the trip was Bergen, as I recall - you know...the place with the leaning buildings. I bought a beer at an outside stand which cost as much as a case in other places. A pizza and two beers was around 1,300 pesos!

It was a great cruise, however, especially the fjords!

Got a mate that works in Norway 4 days a week, actually packs bags of mince and other food because everything so expensive over there.

For someone who has spent 12yrs in the last 24 at various points around the North Sea, I'd have to say in general I'd agree with you PJ, but I still hope to be outside on deck this Sunday, post luncheon with the C.C.C. (Curlew Cigar Club). It's was quite a pleasant 14oc today

Because inspector peajays caught me taking a wee bit of poetic license in the telling of the "no smoking on the upper deck" affair, please allow me to set the record straight. The event occurred during a 12 day Mediterranean Cruise, not the North Sea.
