Saw that tonight, pretty good film, fairly slow burning but holds your interest. Lots of nods to prior AI films.

A little bit Stepford Wives coupled with Westworld, but no idea why .. I couldn't get Holly from Red Dwarf out my head about halfway through the film

      • Started watching American Sniper last night but had to leave it about 45min from the end. Very good from what I've seen so far.

It's actually been banned out here in Malaysia, they are very touchy about these sort of things when it comes to religion.

        • Watched 'Calvary' with Brendan Gleeson yesterday. If you're familiar with 'The Guard' then you'll know what to expect but this is way darker with an excellent script and some sharp digs at the Catholic Church and bankers.

          • 'Under the skin', unless you want to see Scarlett Johanssen don't bother with this movie. It is just so slow and I gave up with half an hour to go. I have read the book many years ago and I didn't give up on that so I don't know what went wrong here.

I thought the idea was for him to get you before you saw him. Seriously though did you see in the news that the 'world's best sniper' is actually a Royal Marine with 173 confirmed kills.

                      • I missed that John. Osk, I definitely recommend American sniper. I'm not usually keen on the main actor who I forget his name but he was very good in this.

                            • Fury is my next one to watch when I get the chance. Which isn't very often as I know my Mrs won't like it.
