have not long watched Assassin... i do not know what I was thinking... it is absolutely appalling! The acting is beyond wooden, the dialogue stilted... genuinely ruddy awful! If I hadnt been doing something else while watching it, I am sure I would have switched it off.

also watched American Sniper... better than expected, and if you are into that sort of movie it's not disappointing. A simple story told well, without too much yee-haa nonsense.

Spooks: The greater good

I haven't seen any of Spooks on the TV so approached this with an open mind and was pleasantly surprised, it was good and John Snow did well without his sword

Watched John Carter again last night - I can't get over just how much it bombed, considering the toss that makes money....

Not long watched Kill the Messenger. Its all about nicaraguan contra guns/drugs. Fascinating. Feels a bit like it was made because someone wanted to make it, rather than it being a fully complete project. Fascinating nevertheless, and worth watching through to the very end. The messages at the end land a very very big set of questions about complicity and conspiracy..... Definitely worth a watch if the topic is your kind of thing. Some good actors play bit parts through out.

Watched The Martian last night. I really enjoyed it. Great acting from Matt Damon. Great soundtrack too.

I love this film, have seen it 5 times. The book is so much better though. Definately Worth a read👍

Just watched Kingsman.... A bloody good watch. Quietly Chortled all the way through. Good cartoon action.
