    • apologies if this is a duplicate. BUT ... John Wick 4... for many dull and repetitive. For me... just ongoing excellent distracting cartoon violence and fair play

            • If you've got Prime you might like to try 'Zulu' starring Forest Whittaker and Orlando Bloom as detectives investigating a murder in South Africa. It's quite brutal in places.

                • Wife dragged me to see Indie 5, having had to watch the other 4 during the week, as I had avoided them until then. Perhaps because they influenced my daughter to do such a useless degree? Anyway, please tell me, I am not the only one who thought it was total rubbish & just a spend fest on the effects. Apparently they need to sell 2.5x over the cost of the film to break even, never gonna happen IMHO. Oh, & anyone shot just above the heart, isn't going to survive being manhandled out of caves & all the rest!

Small one, can't imagine any fan was expecting Indie to die.

                          • The covenant. It needed to be a true story. Otherwise, great cinematography and great landscapes! I know it's based on real things, but not real events. Should have been a short not a 2 hour movie. Otherwise a great looking (great audio too) OK war themed chase movie. 5/10.

                            • The mountain between us.

Was sold to me as a survival story. Again, fiction. I was duped by the wife. It's just a dull strung out romantic fantasy. Never trusting her again. Waste of time.

JW4 was much better than JW3 imho.
Some of the camera work was very innovative (I'm thinking the derelict building / dragon's breath shotguns).
All round very enjoyable and glad I went to the cinema to watch it.
I really hope that's the end of JW though.
Not because I don't like the franchise, I do. I just don't want them to jump the shark.
