  • MacBook Pro Advice

Does anyone have any tips for getting cheap Apple products or point me in the cheapest direction of a good but used MacBook Pro.

Ideally 2.5gig CPU or faster and Ideally 16gig ram.

If you know anyone who's at uni or college, you can get education discount. I think it's around15%.
If not..I know of a web address that mimics the uni campus address, to enable said discount..
I'm sorry to the mods if I'm flaunting forum rules, please delete this post if so.

I bought mine second hand. I actually bought it on eBay and it was nearly new. Think I paid ?800 ish for it. I've had it over a year and never had any problems despite my rather er colourful web use [emoji16]

Try scrumpymacs or MacKing. Scrumpy is where I bought both my macbook pro and iMac for work. I use them for editing videos and they haven't let me down in 4 years.

My last couple have been via salary sacrifice at work, which can work favourably as I'd planned to stay past three years.

Prior to that I've had a couple of Macs from the Apple refurbished site and all have been great.

How does the salary sacrifice work? Is it like cycle to work?
