      I feel like I'm smoking a cigarette.
      I hate cigarettes.
I love cigars though, just so long as they're not skinny!

Over the last year I have lost 35lbs basically my in take was 1500 cal a day which meant no crap and a good healthy diet
Along with reffing and regular ex cerise mainly a min of 5k runs every other day and I still smoke my cigars
Try not to eat after 7pm as well helped and drink plenty of water or now I only drink black coffee rarely any milk

Sounds like a healthy lifestyle Martyn, there's a pretty good chance that weight Will stay Off long term and your life Will be positively affected by your choices!

Anyway, ERdM, Fonseca are probably your best options IMO though I would still probably laid out On no food.

              Good luck buddy!

Lost 3 stone in 3 months earlier in the year by eating ten times a day instead my usual one massive meal.

                  Fair play to you Wiggy

Perhaps we we could do with a diet thread for ideas and inspiration I need to lose about half to a stone myself, but I haven't made any concerted effort yet

i like this, so if I have 10 small pizzas through out the day, instead of one big 16" at dinner.

It won't work unless you have the puddings too Mo

well naturally puddings have to be eaten, but they go into the pudding stomach so dont count

Pretty much mo. seemed to lose more the days I eat an apple which I know sounds really weird but I am certain it made a difference. Was still going out on the razz at the weekend too. Also drank a small lake worth of water everyday. Not sure if thats healthy or not but helped me feel full and away from the chocolate in the vending machines.

                            Drinking lots of water helps.

My understanding is that as long as you get the nutriants your body needs, a massive calorie deficit forcing your body to burn fat is no worse for you than a massive excess causing your body to stuff energy away as fat.

I've found that wheat, grains and processed sugars are what cause me to gain weight, and I can eat as much as I want, whenever I want if I avoid them (and limit the booze)

I've found it best not to smoke on an empty stomach, but will normally eat some chicken legs or something before settling down.

Calories in, calories out, can't cheat biology but if fasting or eating smaller, more frequent meals helps you control your calorie intake then carry on my wayward son.

That said eating smaller, more frequent meals is how we advise people to gain weight and there was a pretty good paper (in the British Medical Journal if I'm remembering correctly) which demonstrated worse weight loss with this approach than a normal calorie restriction.

Well here's a good start to the new year. My dentist has just told me to stop drinking fizzy drinks because of acid erosion to my teeth. Robinson Barley with a BBF just doesn't have any cool my son tells me oldie.jpeg
