Plenty of creamy smoke with definite hints of coffee. I do have a Siglo VI in the humidor, kindly gifted from John, but have
not found the occasion to smoke it yet.
That's very interesting to know. I've smoked only one Siglo VI before but found it a bit too young and didn't fully appreciate itso have another resting for some point in the future. They were bought for me by a friend in Switzerland and alas no box code/date was asked for.

Thanks JT and PeeJay for the info. Something to look in to a little further.

• I smoked one today Horsebox and yes it is very similar to a Siglo VI, construction and burn was perfect and no relights required, lasted about an hour and a half.

• Apart from a few my son is picking up for me in Majorca this week with my left over Euros I wasn't planning to buy any more before Christmas but then two friends upset the applecart. Simon Bolivar is looking for a box for me in the DR and an American friend offered to bring me these.

Who knows? All I know is what's on the label. Supposedly from a major company so Rocky Patel, Alec Bradley? I've bought these bargain bundles before and not had a bad one yet.

• They look nice and smooth and well formed.... With a bundle of 40 you should be able to test their aging potential quite easily

It's a really nice way of parcelling them, I think. With the signature, it's somehow much more personal and a change from boxes, tubes, cardboard packs.

All cigars age Sham whether to their benefit or detriment. I have some well aged NCs that are excellent but I didn't have them from new so can't answer that question. The difference is that NCs tend to be sold ready to smoke and so don't have a 'sick' period like some Cubans are prone too.

• I've aged some nc's part by accident- stopped smoking, part by intent. From rolled and smoked in a day lively and edgy through to kept for ( now the last one) 20 years, smooth creamy and ultra mellow. a huge difference at every stage. Rarely as complex as a cc but just different in my view not better or worse
