  • A Rare Find!

My old Gran passed away before Christmas at the ripe old age of 99. Old dears have a habit of collecting useless ornaments but while we were clearing out some of the cabinets I came across a ceramic whisky decanter that belonged to my Grandad. I remember seeing it as a kid so was pretty chuffed to find it, he passed away in the 1990's.

Its still full and sealed, never been opened and dates from the early 80's. I hear they are quite collectable.. Not sure whether I will keep it or drink it.

Not much monetary value, but a nice find! I would keep it if it's sentimental.

I'd toast to them with the whisky and a fine smoke.

Toast the pair of them now and save the rest to remember them on their birthdays/anniversary.

Cheers to that, chico lovegod! A life well lived, no doubt. My guess he'd want you to enjoy it. Honor his memory with a quite drink and a stick.

                  A Rare Find!

Found this online.. ?139?? Its smaller than a coke can! Might sell it for a bigger, better bottle, single malt and toast them with that :-) Grandad would have liked that!!

That one looks brand new and yours is vintage. You must be able to get a couple of hundred quid for yours at least?

That is a beautiful thing and its sentimental value makes it all the more wonderful.

Hey its small size means it would fit in one of them glass fronted humidors and look great with your cigars!
