I was thinking of buying some Drew Estate acid cigars. Has anyone tried them and can give me an opinion on them?

They are the Marmite of cigars and most definitely not for everyone especially if you don't like sweetened tips but some of them are good.

Thanks PJ, I was thinking of buying a 5 stick sampler at a reasonable price, might take a punt on them soon

Big deep dark rich flavours in very oily packages that coat your mouth, they're pretty one dimensional but certainly I enjoy them. I'd thoroughly recommend giving them a try.

Try the Undercrown shade (not the Maduro) and the Larutan.
The ACID is infused with aromatics and is really for first timers.
I have smoked the Undercrown and it's not bad. The Larutan is blended with tobacco usually used in pipes which gives them a distinctive (but in this case) natural aroma.

I might give the under crown a pop next time I'm in a b&m

Should have qualified I liked the undercrown and standard liga privada lines, the flavoured/infused I haven't tried so couldn't comment.

The flying pigs are worth a try although the draw is more open due to it being NC, the corona viva has a lot firmer draw which let me enjoy it a lot more. Certainly not an everyday smoke for me but great change of pace cigars

Now the unflavoured are a different beast i agree. Though i havent smoked so many. The Liga Privada line has been on my to try list for a while and so have the pigs.

I have a handfull of undercrowns and i keep coming back to them now and again.

New Undercorwn Shade is really good cigar, IMO much better than Padron Damaso for half price, from Acid I like Krush line(cigarillos), big ones are just too sweet for me

It has also the body present, which supports light wrapper. For now it is only two sizes available Robusto and Toro, I am not sure how much it costs in UK, but here is about 5% more than standard Undercrown

The Undercrown shade was a total disappointment to me - I smoked it, but I don't really remember it. It was just average.
Whereas the normal Undercrown is excellent.

I've only had the juicy Lucy one which was the most disgusting thing I've ever smoked. Tasted like artificial sweetener and left an awful taste in my mouth for ages. Reminded me of those calypso drink cartons that look like yogurt pots where you pierce the lid.
