Ketel One is highly rated... no idea how much but suspect its a pretty penny.

Years ago, on someone elses tab, I drank a bottle of Stoli Black Cristal in a bar that ended very late... first vodka i enjoyed because of its smoothness and subtle tastes, rather than seeing it as a white spirit mixer.... thought it would be a nice gift for sure.

          Vodka.

I'd go with Chase, British made and very high quality

All vodka if kept in the freezer is a very nice straight drink , trouble is straight at room temperature vodka looses it's syrupy viscosity and appeal

This may seem like a stupid question but does it taste like rhubarb?

                    Julienne rhubarb? Cooked or raw?

I'm not a vodka drinker (at all), but the Snow Queen vodka they had at last week's cigar dinner at Boisdale was actually drinkable, so that's a good sign. The guy I do occasional work for at a wine shop in Cheltenham swears by Konik's Tail, and with a Polish wife he's assured me he's tried more than a few vodkas...

Out of the premium brands, grey goose is what I enjoy the most... Mixes well into cocktails too!
