    Partagas Seleccion Privada LE 2014 - Any thoughts?

    I'm a bit of a fan of the Partagas marque and have been looking over their recent releases with a view to a purchase.. having trawled back through the Review Section I couldn't see much comment on these..
    So I was wondering what the general consensus was on the quality of the Seleccion Privada LE 2014?

    Are they considered a box worthy purchase?
    (Good to smoke now, or a prospect for aging?).

    Interested in hearing your experiences.

        "Tried a Partagas Seleccion Privada 2014 LE, lovely smoke, be good to go next Christmas I'd say.
        Loads of buttery shortbread, christmas pudding and flashes of that LE Chocolate."

            Only smoked the one Steve. If it wasn't for the constant pepper I'd say it was soft and gentle enough for a girl guides singalong. I know what you were thinking, 'Is it anything like THE Partagas Seleccion Privada of old?' The answer is NO and IMHO never likely to be in a million years.

            But if you're really cat-curious, get yersel' a single and give it a go, you've plenty of time 'cos I don't think they'll be any shortage of boxes for a bit yet!

                          IMO, these are a very worthwhile purchase. Not being a fan of the stronger Partys, I found these to have a very good depth of flavour, while retaining an excellent smoothness. Definitely box worthy, IMO - I might even buy a couple extra boxes.

                              Bloody hell! Welcome back!!! That Mexicant can't be far behind...

                              I've got two boxes but yet to smoke one, both of my boxes are the fabled 'wrong band' ones so I'm hesitant to smoke them - but I doubt they'll ever be worth anything.
