  • 1997 Romeo y Julieta Celestial Finos

Due to the generosity of butternutsquash in a trade I am now an owner of this wonderful cigar. I will wait for fair weather and plan to do a review of the cigar when I smoke it.

Not being very familiar with RyJ, I plan to smoke a few to compare the cigar to others from the same brand.

As this line was discontinued, can anybody recommend cigars for the preparation?

I'd recommend the Wide Churchill. Very nice smoke.

For sure a Petit Julieta preferably with a little age on it and a Churchill for the other end of the scale

We're just impressed that Jeremy delivered, logistics is not his forte!

Hahhaha... to be fair, he had to wait as long for mine as I did for his, so it's all good... and since those babies don't get bad nothing is lost.

I can't wait for spring now...!! but I have to stock up on some of the recommended RyJ to prepare myself for the smoke. I feel it would be a shame if I had this completely unprepared with little to compare to.

Be careful not to build it up in your head too much! Or you'll be disappointed.

Ineed Simon; CF's are fairly unimpressive, as are the Belicosis & much of the R&J line. Best are old gold label Churhill tubos & pre '80's vintage sticks, had a few wonferful ones from 60/70's.
