Hey guys

I've got a friend flying over from Canada in a month or so an thought i'd try and get him to get me come NC to try out......is there any cigars you guys could recommended to bring over from there?

I've want to try the Cuban Branded Non cuban cigars Was looking the

Monti White Series and Macanudo Vintage

any others you could recommend?

I did a few reviews of NCs, maybe check those out. Otherwise, I can recommend the Oliva Master Blends 3, which is a superb cigar and won't be around for much longer.

I am sure Peejay will have some good ideas as well.

If you are happy to pay premium prices and patient to wait a few years, padrons are fantastic, but terrible when still young.

Hi Shamz. I would recommend any of the Padron series, Oliva Serie V and Melanio series, Arturo Fuente and Liga Privada. The Tatuaje and Rocky Patel brands are also worth trying.

The surrogates Cracker Crumb and Tramp Stamp are good

Only had the Cracker Crumb but was very nice, the Tramp Stamp was recommended to me to try but havent got round to it yet.

SHAMZ84 I had an RyJ gold medal Robusto last week - very mellow smoke, highly recommended. I'd like to try more sizes in this range.

Great sticks / lines already mentioned - Oliva, Fuente.
Another good one to try, which are bargain at the price point IMO, are AJ Fernandez sticks - New World, Enclave, San Lotano. Personally I really like his Connecticuts in all three lines. I really like the Oliva Nubs too. They're short sticks but they're not a quick smoke. Connecticut, Maduro, Cameroon and Habano.....

I would really recommend going for Oliva Serie V Double Robusto and Torpedo. Great cigars with flawless construction. The special figurado is also a sight to behold. They must have some top rollers working for them. The Melanio figurado is also fantastic.

I have a work mate heading to Toronto next week, I have asked him to bring me back a mixed sampler to the value of ?50 or there abouts. It'll be interesting to see what he comes back with.
I have another work mate going to the states in October with the same instructions, but he will take ?100. He told me that you get a better deal in the states than you do in Canada as cigars are more expensive in Canada.

Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment as you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it!

Tatuaje Noella is a NC that I smoke on a regular basis and is really worth a try IMO.

Don't buy cigars from any store in Toronto if you don't know much about cigars. This is especially true when coming from the EU zone with cheaper tobacco rates on average. Though, the conversion rate may make it a tad easier to swallow...
The prices are abhorrent and not worth the price of admission.
