Had my first RYJ short Churchill at the pool side.

Very nice...have to still a bit young...can see them being even nice in a year's or so time

Question why is call a short Churchill and not a Robusto? Same size I think?

Going by the photo sham looks like you cut too much of the head off
can cause the cigar ro unravel.

If in doubt put your cutter on a flat surface, insert your cigar and cut. You can actually buy cutters that have a back to do that for you. I find they can sometimes be a little too shallow.

Driven out to the cabin by the rain today but it didn't stop me enjoying this RyJ Bully and several episodes of Homeland.

                    Ended the night with a monte 3 - 05

Had to say it was full of flavour perfect draw used PeeJay technique in cutting the cigar too.

Had a bit of spice coco, creamy smoke...just really nice...my oldest aged smoke so far

HUHC 6mm Punch is ideal for these, last one I cut & the draw was too easy for my taste.

Still looks like you cut too much off shams.
