  • My cigar has more of a tan than me

    Hi guys,
Just got back from Vegas and decided to smoke one of the Fuente gran reserves I brought back.

Smoking it happily until I decided to take a look at the band...

Nothing looks strange until I moved the band up a little. Took the band off to show you guys.

I spent most of the time in the casino so my cigar looks to have gotten more sun than I did...

How odd Perhaps it had spent some time in display and the sun bleached it out a bit??

I am not sure. I bought two of these, one from the bottom of the pile they had and it has the same tan line... None of the other cigars have it either...

Never seen that before. Maybe the band has reacted with the wrapper somehow? The cap end also looks a different shade to the band line and the bit beyond it? Bizarre.

I have heard reports of wrappers being dyed, plae wrappers being coloured to look darker. If the bottom row of a box was the same, suggest this a likely if disturbing cause.

That was my thought, but the other Fuente cigars (Different type) have no staining on them at all... Just kinda strange...
