• September photo competition

    Hello all.

    This time I have the honor to host our montly comp. To cut straight to the point -

    Subject - Freedom.

    This is not only restricted to cigars, but would be nice if there are at least attempts to include them in the pictures. Topic is as far and wide as your personal freedoms go. Be it riding bikes, flying planes, whatever that will not get you banned . Few pictures to get you going

    Rules
    * PMs
    * competition ends with the month - last day, last minute
    * no photoshop entries please. This is not graphic design competition after all.
    * in case of a tie, winner will be chosen by my daughter. The choice will be video recorded and uploaded.

    This months prize will be HdM Epicure Especiale.

    I hope I didn't forget anything .

    Good luck!

        Guess I'm not the only one who couldn't find the inspiration for this topic, perhaps a change of topic for October?

          Hard to imagine, PeeJay....no inspiration for FREEDOM? Perhaps this thread just needed a bump!

          Times have changed, no doubt, but back in the day, an open road and a reliable ride was all that was needed to inspire the imagination and a sense of freedom.

          Here's an example of "freedom" that I found deep down in don TJ's journal. Not to be considered for the photo contest; just a representation of what freedom looks like to me.

              That's very pessimistic approach PeeJay .

              I felt really free when I took off in an aircraft as a pilot. Nothing preventing me from going anywhere I wanted. I feel free when I am somewhere far away from home on my bike - just me, open road, nice views and music in my helmet . These are just the examples, of course it will vary from person to person, but there must be something that makes us all feel totally unrestrained .

              Ok, I'll think about another topic and we'll crack on from 1st of October .
