I just saw Dale's tweet. Awful news. I caught up with him at JJ Fox's a few months ago and we spent the afternoon herfing away, catching up and discussing all things cigar and politics.

Have just seen this truly heartbreaking news. Very sad to lose such a true gentleman. One of the nicest and most selfless people I have ever had the good fortune to meet, however infrequently we met up it was always as though we were picking up from the day before, a truly marvellous and engaging man to be around. I've just heard about this via twitter. Very sad for all who knew him, even sadder for those who were close. We only met infrequently but it was enough to know him as one of the nicest people I have come accross through cigars.
