I've heard that Bolivars are strong etc, but yesterday had one corona and it was not strong at all, would say like Monte no 4-5. Was my cigar 'broken'?

I've found that BBF & CJ aren't as strong as the royal Corona

I think the boli pc is way above the others in strength and kind of throws you off the rest of the brand. For me boli need age to get the best out of them kinda smooth their edges to deliver real depth

I don't know, my pc is still in humi. One cigar that almost destroyed me was rocky patel sungrown junior. Little arse kicker!

I'm quite a fan of Bolivar range. Agree with smokeyjoe that BBF are somewhat milder than others in the range. Quite partial to a No. 3 tubo every now and again.

Splash out and try a Lonsdale, that's a lovely Boli smoke

Yeah those tubo from 07 are very flavoursome and not strong at all

No kidding, have had a very similar experience! It's sort of my benchmark for "whoa! Too strong."

Much like with curry, I want flavour, not blind strength. If the two are together it might be worth it - but cigar quease for the sake of it? No thanks!
