Any thoughts on the Montecristo Petit Edmundo - I know its usually not classed as a robusto, but it seems to be mentioned frequently.

You're right there Steve - excellent cigar. I'm much more impressed by it than I was when the Edmundo launched.

Still prefer the Edmundo to the petite.More refined smoke with more flavour IMO.

              nobody,talk about a H.Upmann Connossieur No1.
if you like a medium streight cigar
              or perhaps a partagas 5 le 08,i liked it a lot...not so strong as a N.4

also dont't forget a JL N.2 has an exelent quality, taste and the price
and if you like a big size take a Trinidad robusto extra

                epi

I like the Hoyo De Monterrey Epi #2 with a small glass of Johnnie Walker Blue Label! They complement each other so well. Too bad the blue label is sooooo expensive.

I jumped on the Partargas D4 bandwagon on the advice of this forum and thought they were great.

So when in London tomorrow (Saturday) I think I need to buy a few/sample the HdM #2. (I am using cigar abbreviations already too!).

                      I'll post my thoughts.

yeah, best value robusto in my opinion! (prefer to D4, but JL2 great value too!)

higher up, love the cohiba though!
