I'm in the market for a good bottle of XO. I've whittled it down to:
Remy Martin
Martell
Hennessey
Does anyone have any experience with any of the above? At the moment im tempred to purchase the first two, but is that reay necessary? Does one of the above outshine the others?

All three xos are very good, the martell cordon bleu and Remy Xo both have a good hint of spice to them and the Hennessey xo is a must in any cognac collection

If you had to choose one of the Remy or Martell oskihen? Both sound delicious.

You wouldn't go wrong with any of the three, so if I were you and you are just having your first foray into fine cognac I'd opt for the cheapest which is probably the Remy

Thank you oskihen. I'll go for the Henessey and the Remy. I've dabbled with cognac before and have some in my collection, but I've been more of a single malt drinker for the past ten years or so. Something recently has had me yearning for the richness of cognac...

Yes, I've always favoured it over Cognac to be honest. Most recently, my son gave me a bottle at Christmas which didn't survive New Year's eve. I feel guilty still (although it wasn't just me!), as it is absolutely something to be savoured and does go very well with a good cigar.

What was the bottle?

Do not say glass...
Only the impossible is worth the effort.

Got a few bottles plus a bottle from by birth year for my 30th which is awesome, intense flavour but not as smooth as a cognac

Which one was it? I recently got a bottle of VSOP Martell which is pretty good, fancy trying something else too.
