I'd say "phew" but that's still a chunky stick.

Hi all-first post on here in a long time!I made my first trip to Cuba a few weeks ago and attended the finale gala dinner where they presented this new range.I didn't burn any as I had started an Espy but look forward to trying them soon.I was sitting on Ajay's table and he said he preferred the Maltes vs Dumas and early reviews I've seen similar opinions.
I'm in the process of trying to write up my experience and will publish somewhere at some point

I've noticed that the Linea range is available now and was wondering if anyone has tried them or any thoughts on them at all?

Watched a review by Dutch Cigars on YouTube and he wasn't very impressed. He stated that the band on the foot was difficult to take off and in some cases even peeled off the wrapper.

              Thanks

No, not yet. And I'm not really interested in getting boxes of the Lineas at the moment. Maybe a single of each in the future to at least try them though.

I was thinking the same, maybe a single of each and putting them to rest for a while. Not cheap though.

Yeah, that?s what?s putting me off. And I?ve read mixed reviews.
And then there are other cigars that I?m chasing at the moment, lol.

Some many other good cigars on my list too. Will wait and see what happens.

The gauges is what put me off. I love a Monte but the only one with serious interest for me is the Dumas.

As out Aussie friends said in their video review, the 3rd bottom label is actually the only one of use - possibly keeping feet from being damaged. Would be nice to see them a bit more!

I have all three and have so far tried the Dumas and the Maltes. First Dumas was excellent - i also like that size best. Second Dumas was flawed and burned like crap, i had to take it down half way through.
Yesterday i had a go at the Maltes. GREAT smoke. Fantastic wrapper. Silky and oily, perfect draw and clean cut burn line all the way to the nub. Light on the smoke and the taste 1/2 inch in but then it picked up. A lot. Young, with some ammonia in the last 1 1/2 inch, but i took it all the way. This size is close to eg. La Trova, a bit big, the Leyenda is equal to the 80th. A big sucker.
