Thanks, the Aniversario's are huge. Slight crease in the one Magnum is annoying but no big deal.

Yeah, the Monte 80th is huge. I had one in January and it took me a long time to smoke it.

I didn't like it much. Way to young for me, bit I purchased a couple more to let them rest for a while.

As someone still developing their palate, how can you tell a cigars too young, is it a harshness, ammonia?

off topic but my brothers in Madrid, if he spots some I might end up with some SD4's as well.

As I mentioned before, try to get a few cigars that have a few years on them and smoke them, take some notes and have the same cigar young. You will taste the difference.

I find that some young cigars simply don't have the taste that I'm looking for. Others do.

On the hand I smoke with some veterans from time to time and they are getting flavours that I never had, I hope to get there in time.

Thanks, will have a search for some aged sticks to compare. I watch a lot of reviews and they're talking about, earthy, choclately, floral, leathery etc and all I'm getting is tobacco in some cases.

As well as the need to age them, if I'm honest I think they'd be wasted on me at the moment. Hopefully by the time they're ready to smoke I can appreciate them better. Good excuse to smoke more cigars in the meantime.

Some people like aged cigars, some dont. I like both young and aged cigars, they are different and neither is better than the other IMO. Fresh young cigars can need 6 months rest in the humi, they will almost always improve during that time.

My brother kindly picked these up for me on his return from Madrid.

Whats the best way to store them, out the tube, in the tube with the cap on or off?
