1st humidor, taking this hobby a bit more seriously. Only 25 capacity but I smoke once a week, twice would be an extravagance.

Will do! Picking up an order this week, going to stick with NC for a while and see where that takes me.

That is a great little start, but you will soon be looking for another.

I can attest to this, my 40 capacity has filled up fast and I'm already thinking about more storage, this is after just a couple of months of collecting. Can't stop buy them!!!

Got a bit of an experiment going while seasoning. Left those agio ones pictured, dry as a bone as only the Dutch know how, in while it gets settled. To see how they might turn out after a couple of weeks. But the RH sits around 72 while using a boveda 84% pack. This to be expected or is there a trick to seeing if there is a leak?

My humidor is reading 70% with two Boveda 69's in it, hygro was bang on 75% when I did a salt test last week. Guess it seals pretty well as I was expecting 65ish.

tape up the gap between the lid and see if it improves.

Appreciate it Specialized_j Will see how it affects the readings, I know the hygrometer is accurate at least so no variance to consider.

No worries, I've checked mine again tonight and it's now 71% RH, not sure how thats possible as it seems to be increasing past the packs rating. I'm new to Bovedas myself so trying to figure it out, I've removed one and I'll check it again later.

You guys realize that humidity is impacted by temperature. -BB
