  • A trip to Pisa / Florence

    Hey fellas,

I am due to take a trip to Pisa / Florence with Mrs k to celebrate 40yrs of life.

Any recommendations on Cigar shops whilst I am over there. Quite fancy an Italian exclusive.

    TIA

I didn't smoke cigars when I went, only roll ups, but I remember it being incredibly hard to buy a bad meal there! Drink lots of Chianti and enjoy the food. (I'm sure the cigar advice you asked for will follow!)

There is a little cigar shop in pisa on the walk through the town to the tower it didnt have much. Dont think we found an actual cigar shop in Florence all the little newsagents had a few

Thanks guys, as long as there is some available that will be fine. I remember in Menorca they had the 'Tabac' shops that carried a healthy amount and I was curious to see if there was something similiar in Pisa/Florence

You'll have no trouble finding toscani cigars if you like them.

              This might help:
              Tabacchi Cavini Di Mancini Stefano
              Via dei Neri, 41
              50122 Firenze
              Italy

Don't know what they have in stock, maybe give them a call before visiting.

Yep - as everyone's said you can find a humi in most of the Tabacs.

If you haven't already I would give some Toscanos a go too - they're crazy cheap and a nice little smoke for the price

This should be an interesting trip to see what I can find. Thanks for all the comments and assistance.

+1 on the toscanos. I'll always grab a couple of packs if in Italy; darker ("antico", I think) are my favourites but but I'm sure that they do a few varieties.

Like you said jimmy they do a few varieties but I prefer the antico toscano myself darker stronger and more flavour.
