• Come February 11th it will

be a year since I last smoked.

On top of my desk are two full humidors and beneath it are two full containers of Cuban cigars. My problem, if it is a problem, is what to do with them.

Between now and 11 Feb I'll put together an inventory and see what occurs. Although possibly not a lot considering I don't have PM.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

Considering you have something of a history with this club & 6,000 posts & have been back several months, I would sincerely hope Deano will give your PM's back before Feb; rather than have this fine collection be lost to the members here because you could not offer them for sale. I for one will be an interested buyer Arf, perhaps one of the Mods could highlight this to Deano?
Happy New Year BTW Arf, I wish you a long, healthy cigar retirement!

Something I can do little about Si, but not something I want as I can still taste PSdC1 in my head.

Perhaps you could organise a meetup or something for people on the forum to meet up and buy your stuff? Although considering how hard it is to organise herfs at the best of times...

How come you've given up Arf?

I had infected saliva gland CJ – for almost a week I thought was just a sore throat – the infection had almost reached life threatening by the time I went to A&E. To cut a long story short the surgery required to fix it rearranged my top and lower mouth and the scar tissue is still healing. Hot food is difficult, smoking would be worse.

Correct me if I'm wrong but hadn't you always planned to give up eventually? Has this just hastened the event?

Shit tippexx , I'm really sorry to hear that - I hope you can find something else that you will enjoy nearly as much...
And I'm sure Deano or one of the other mods will be able to help sort out PMs.

Crikey, sorry to hear you have to give up smoking. Good to hear you are on the road to recovery though.

Sad story indeed. Onwards and upwards lets hope! All the best with recovery etc.

Sounds like an ordeal

Something good will hopefully come of it

I?ve not had an alcoholic beverage for over a year now

I believe Tippex was planning to quit at 70yo, so guess this just bought it fwd a little? Not a nice way to finish off though, I guess with such a nasty medical complaint, it's been easier to avoid smoking & so retirement won't seem so tough.
Yes Arf, the Party Serie Du Conaisseur No1, is a fine smoke & better than the more popular SDNo4 IMHO. Have some No2 & No3's left, all out of the No1.

Good to hear that they caught the infection in time and hope that your road to recovery continues, it sounds like quite an ordeal!
