Off to DR : La Romana in a few months...I've been told that Cubans there's will be very expensive...so doubt I'll be looking for any...but any cigar factory or farms to visit?

This is where I stayed and there is a massive cigar factory there (I think the world's biggest), unfortunately I can't recommend it as I was with the family and this was one thing that we didn't do
There were weekly tours there, every Thursday IIRC

thats my issue....with the family so will try and sneak away with my brother inlaw..if its not too far away.


would be nice to have a freshly rolled cigar...not into NC but while i'm out there might try a few.

I smoked a fair few NCs out there, and I must admit I was a bit of a convert, there was some rubbish (including the NC Montes and RyJ I tried), but there were some really good ones too, the Opus X is excellent

I maintain CC are still the best, but there are some NC worth bothering with

Off on today.. Haven't smoked a cigar for almost 2 weeks...been battling out with a viral infection...but feeling optimistic and I'm on holiday so taking these babies
