  • Newbie from Walsall

    Hi all,

I'm from Walsall and have for a long time enjoyed the pleasures of single malt whisky. There has however always seemed a little something missing from a good Islay dram for me and I think I may have found the missing part of the puzzle.
Having tried a few cigars over the past months I am enjoying the combination immensely but now I'm looking to start a collection of cigars for all occasions.
Please bare with me, I'll try not to be to tedious with any questions.

    Regards

    Dave

Welcome to the forum Dave, whisky and cigars are indeed a match made in heaven.

Don’t worry about the questions, even the most seasoned and knowledgeable cigar smokers (not that I’m claiming to be one) have been there before at some point.

Welcome to the forum, Dave! Great to have another fresh face amongst us! Which cigars have you managed to smoke so far that have tickled your tastes?

Worry not about questions, they're a joy to ask and answer - i think we all welcome the opportunity to learn

Many thanks for the replies all, think this could be a long journey. I didn't realise just how many cigars there were, I've been buying basically selection packs from various online retailers so I can taste as many as possible.
                      Wow what an eye opener!!
Once I'm happy with a few I then intend to marry them up to different malt selections to arrive at my ultimate pairings.
                      This could take a while
