  • If you could only smoke one last cigar ...

You could only have one more cigar but could choose any from any year even those not made any more.

So what would it be and why?

I would have an 08 Lusitania from the same box I had my 1st cuban from at the davidoff shop in london. Fond memories and an amazing cigar.

I'd go for a Cuaba Diademas from 2000, with plenty of Blegain Beers, they even come in their own coffin - how appropriate! That should delay the firing squad or the Grim Reaper by 3Hrs+.

I would finish up with a Partagas Serie D No.4

For my 40th, I smoked a custom rolled davidoff pyramides made by a Davidoff Master Roller on a 2 day rolling exhibition at Harrods. It didnt fit any known dimension of vitola, as he had asked me to go get him a newspaper to fashion the pages into a mould/ press. In the end it was about 18 years old... and was like a cup of cream. I have a DC he also rolled which is now about 21 years old...

If I had the chance to smoke something before I passed over, I'd be wanting the pyramides. Its impossible to get another as he only rolled the one in the whole trip, and was a special at the request of the (last year retired JJ Fox Manager June). Knowing it couldnt be sourced I might hope to cheat death!

Sounds incredible, and lovely tale to go along with it! Now THAT is a custom roll!
Only the impossible is worth the effort.

Siglo VI gran reserva, the only stick I’ve really wanted to try. Not sure if I’d die extremely happy or seriously disgruntled.

Not a bad price for 9 inches of pleasure.
I guess your Blegian beers are the impossible bit

Plenty of Belgian beers available in the UK these days, through your local supermarket. Duvel one of the best & Leffe one of the most widespread, even on tap in London!
