• Trinidad Vigia

I was mulling over what to order next last night, Reyes was high up the list so I started checking out prices and I noticed Vigia.

    Whats the verdict on these?

Bad points - Short and fat, horrible size to smoke.

Good points - Flavours, very good so far and should age well. Quite mild.

I think they are delicious. Great flavour profile and excellent construction. I reviewed one last year.

The Vigia is one of my favourites, I like the size of them, feels like a proper smoke and the flavours are fantastic. A great all round cigar experience in my books

The Vigia is probably my favourite Cuban. It's mild but has a wonderful taste and aroma. It's my perfect morning smoke with a coffee.

I've only had a couple. I smoked both fairly young and they were poor.

I'd like to offer an opinion but although I have a couple of boxes, as they were only released in 2015 obviously I have yet to try one. Patience is it's own reward my amigos!

What are your thoughts on how well Trinidad age Simon? I have a few 2011 Reyes which are great but that’s an extremely small sample size, I suspect you will have far more experience to make a judgement on.

What Simon Bolivar and @ robustoclubhavana said.... I had a few and felt they could offer more. I was a touch disappointed if the truth be told. But there was enough there ( format, vitola, flavour) to make me curious so i stuck a box into deep sleep too.

Well I've ordered a couple, and a couple of Medio Siglo. I thought they looked like comparable cigars so was interested to see which I prefer.

Been a while since I've bought any cigars, looking forward to this.
