  • Canada succumbs

We all know how politically correct Canada is and so it should come as no surprise to read that they have agreed to use the same plain wrapping for tobacco products as the Australians. Fortunately their prices are too high to affect us as buyers but the noose is tightening!

I do wonder if they will follow suit somehow with sugar and fast/processed food and alcohol?...

I hear they are gonna start wrapping their bears with warnings too cause bears can be dangerous.

Yes, we ( Australians ) have set the benchmark, it’s sad to hear others are following.

Political correctness has gone mad over here.

I'm sure I saw on Facebook recently this is the case in Ireland too.

Can't they do what was done with bottles of spirit in the US and put them in brown paper bags when you purchase them?

Very sad how it's ok to promote certain life choices but try and ban others.

Planning to move to Australia next year and just checked their duty free allowance. 25 grams of tobacco each and tobacco taxed at over 1000 dollars per kg! Fucking crazy.

What's that in cigar terms? A single box?

Importing is the only way to go.

Sometimes customs miss them and Rass, VR Famosos, Mag46 cost only $10 Aussie a stick, mostly customs run their greasy fingers over them and they then cost about $25 ... much better than buying domestic.

( no need to make prior declaration, which I think you Brits are encumbered with )
