A Romeo 3 weighs 8g, a magnum 50 17g. So you basically pay a dollar per gram on whatever you've bought in.

Sometimes customs miss them and Rass, VR Famosos, Mag46 cost only $10 Aussie a stick, mostly customs run their greasy fingers over them and they then cost about $25 ... much better than buying domestic.

( no need to make prior declaration, which I think you Brits are encumbered with )
Is there not a horrible fine for not declaring and trying to sneak it through?

But surely going through the green channel when you know you have 150 cigars gets you in trouble if they stop and find them?

I'm not condoning it at all. All my posts regarding it have been along the lines of surely there's a fine for trying to sneak things, ie don't try it!

Not sure the term PC fits here... But I have to say, the idea that the state decides what's good and bad for you and how to live your life is just plain frightening. I don't harm anyone by harming myself with tobacco.

The longer I think about it, the clearer it becomes that forcing one's own views on others is the wrong way to go about life.

Immigating with your humidors will certainly loose you a couple of years salary in importation taxes

Good luck and I hope you love it.. personally I can't stand the place.

A fair chunk of my family have lived there for a shade over 50 years and I have been there for months at a time.

Little to no nuance in the weather for large chunks of the year gets old very quickly and quite frankly some of the worst resident population I have experienced in any country.
