Started off with the last Monte 3 from 07 3 pack, picked up from Gesto and now a CR Robusto from a split organised by groundhog.

Enjoying the CR more than the Monte. I'm finding more and more that some sticks age better than others. Or rather that some younger sticks are more to my taste than when aged.

I find ? lot has to do with time of day, after a heavy meal, breakfast smoke or what order you smoke cigars, as some of the nuances and delicacy of an aged cigar can get lost by an already toughened palette

I found earlier a JL Selection No1 from 2011 and it was unsmokable. Used the perfect draw on it and when I drew on it got a mouth full of dust. Yuck.

After the disaster with the JL No 1 decided to go for a 1999 Hoyo Churchill - beautiful!

The oldest stick I’ve ever had a 1999 Juan Lopez Seleccion No1

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Oh dear! That’s not good at all! I am still plumbing for a box, but definitely one I can inspect first. Only recently started to explore this marca and I have found it to hit all the right notes for my pallet! Glad the Hoyo saved the day!

A real beauty, I am also frustrated I?ve managed to find it after the 50 cabs were culled! I also think this proves why it?s important to try new marcas/vitolas because you could be really missing out!

All this aside, tis great to see you back with us, I trust you had a good break? Manage to unearth any Canadian Regionals?!
