Definitely the box of Cohiba BHK 52s I was lucky enough to pick up for a shade over ?350. Still a hefty price tag, but nowhere near usual retail price.

Couldn't let them go at that price! Have kept a few for myself but split the rest at cost.

            Definitely not!

When do they typically release the Behike’s?

I'm not sure to be honest, I got the email and called straight away, initially was told that they had already (?!) sold out, but luckily there was one box left!

I've not had an original Supremo...but I've smoked a custom roll version from PeeJay....it's a bit pricey for a CR but it was a fantastic one.... highly recommend trying them...pm if you want more details.

I think it must be the selection of fundadores through the ages 1998, 2003, 2009, 2011 mostly singles. Looking forward to seeing what they are like through the years.

Interesting experiment Banos, I predict you'll find the Gold banded ones far superior, they changed the blend after & of course the '98-'03 are perfectly aged now.
Talking of perfectly aged, here's a fiver of Chat Margaux that I won yesterday at auction. Many say these are passed their best but I have been assured these have been stored at optimum conditions & the aroma is still strong in the box. The old cigars the aroma tends to go first so sounds promising. The other Cuban Davidoff's I have tied have been surprisingly good, if the most expensive smokes I have had. Guess that's the next few yrs birthday smokes sorted.

I think it must be the part box of La Escepcion Don Jose that I picked up in Rome last month plus the assortment of sticks that I bought as part of Tipexxx's sale via Se?or Bolivar.

Have mostly refrained from buying this past year as I simply do not have any space at all in my wineador, but the last memorable purchases were a box of Sir Winnie Gran Reserva, a cigar I had eagerly been waiting for since its announcement, a cab of Party Lusis at a very good price, and a couple boxes of Edmundo Dantes Conde Belicoso, the Mexican RE.

The 'whats new in the humidor' thread tends to show everything, but whats been the gem you've really wanted and been able to land in the last 6-12 and why?

Ours is not a hobby for those who go light headed when they open their wallet, so we are all lucky people, who are able to enjoy these fine sticks - but which ones really stuck out? I have two for similar reasons... good sticks helped out by BOTLS along the way...

Firstly - ERDM Petit Robusto RE Spain...a ten box care of a legendary piece of true BOTL behaviour! I missed them on the launch. Spotting my deep envy of a box recently acquired by @gojira, @Budgie Smuggler was doing a trade with someone who he knew had a box of these for sale too. He pinged me a mail to see if I wanted them, added them to his order, and then fired them on to me directly! Brilliant. just brilliant. I still feel very lucky!

The second was a bit of a blind roll of the dice. Through a few cheeky questions to people like tommy and PeeJay I connected to a chap willing to sell some 2012 Monsdales. I bought 20 and split them. Regrettably I don't believe I have a picture, but be assured they are the most smooth smoke I have had in quite some considerable time. And dang it I now only have 9 left .... but am still 10/10 privileged.

Rest assured the other purchases (mostly from box splits with heroic BOTL's like RobustoClubHavana and RobBooth) have all been brilliant... but these two stick out as special in recent history.
Those 2012 Monsdales are special bub. You know they?re the sticks people are hoping for when they buy monsdales in the shop today. Sadly current monsdales aren?t like that.
Let?s see if we can get a few more eh!
