So I was mysteriously bombed this week with an excellent book about Churchill and his cigars, alongside a delicious RyJ Churchill. The generosity and thoughtfulness of this gift really touched me, and has also got me thinking...
This could be the start of a great UKCF tradition with the bombing of the Churchill book along with a cigar (ideally a Churchill...) to a member, who can then read, smoke, and then carry on the bomb to another member who has expressed their interest in it.
We already have a great community on this forum, and it is growing every week with new members. I thought this would be a great way to pass on a great book and enjoyable smoke, whilst also developing further ties between old and new members alike.
Regarding the bombing, I will keep a master list on this post for all those that have already been bombed to prevent duplicates (though it is very much re-readable, it makes sense to spread the love!)
Also, for all there would be no rush in reading the book, I would say if you can get it read and bombed within a month it would help keep the momentum going
Please post a picture of you reading the book and smoking the cigar - we’re all suckers for cigar porn!
Also I am going to sign the inside of the book, and it would be great if others can too, be good to see what it looks like in a few years...
