Never had one before. Sod the mid-life crisis, hairdresser car comments. It's 20 years old, but scrubs up really well; ?795 plus four new tyres - what's not to like? Reckon I can smoke a cigar with the roof down too...

Looks great for that price. I've got my eye on the new model, think I'm probably going to go for it in 2/3 years when I can get obe at a good price. They are great drivers cars.

Mx5? I had RX8?s in the past and other mazdas and they are bullet proof. I don?t fit the old mx5 which is a shame as they are well renowned as great fun cars!

In truth, I suspect the jury's out on that for me too...

Nice, convertibles are great when the weather is right. Enjoy!

Lovely little car to drive had one year's ago, handle like an old fashioned sports car, similar driving experience to an old MG or Spitfire. Sod the midlife crisis enjoy it.

Amazingly not! It has done 145k miles, but then that's low for its age.
I always wanted a Spitfire when I was a kid (the car not the plane; no, come to think of it, the car AND the plane) but I never got round to it. So better late than never! Just bring back the sunshine! Thanks for the comments, guys!

Looks good but I prefer to have a solid roof, the windows up and the air con on so the pollen filter can do its work! Apparently in Britain we buy more convertibles than anyone else in Europe, seems like madness in our damp isles but each to his own.

                              Love it! Enjoy!

I went a bit more than soft top when I got the urge and got a YZF R6 (2005). Which has become my daily commuter in the end. So these things can become very practical!
