Any price point? I imagine around the same as the recent Bolivar...?190 or so?!

Send some pics when you pick them up pal. Excited to see how big they are. I've been enjoying the recent Montesco sizes.

I shouldn't have told you the Swiss were disappointing...I could have set up a nice trade later on lol

I think that they are a little less expensive if my memory is correct. €170ish, but it might be €150. We talked about this at the store a few weeks ago but my memory sucks.

I definitely will! I haven't tried any of the big RE's yet except for the Hexagone.

I know that the QdO Francia will be pretty much the same size as the Libertador. Don't know when they will show up as the QdO RE's are always released pretty late.

Ha ha. I don't think that I have anything that would interest you. I believe that you have pretty much everything in your collection.

There's a new QdO coming Mike? Very interesting. All the French QdO have been excellent so far so that's great to hear there's another en route

I agree. Yes, France will get two REs for 2018.

Here's a little more information about the JL Puntos:

They weren't pre released but Coprova (one of the two French distributors) got a little stock in and decided to sent them out before getting in the complete amount of boxes of the first run. The majority of the first run should ship mid to end of September.

The cigar is 55 by 130. Another fat one. The price tag is rather hefty for a cigar like this but with a new price rise on tobacco every few months here in France they should become even more expensive at he end of the year or in January. This is kinda frightening as I ask myself how much French REs will cost in a year or two and how much am I willing to pay for them. When will high prices make me stop purchasing French REs? Not too soon I hope since there are some nice QdO REs that will hit the market in the coming years. If these will be green lighted they should be stellar!!!

They had 10 boxes at the store yesterday and nearly all boxes had one or two underfilled cigars in them. Half the boxes had wrappers with green spots and medium wrapper quality. I purchased a box that's pretty nice though but didn't go for two or more because the other boxes weren't to my liking. Thios box will be for one of you guys as I prefer to wait for boxes with low numbers. If all boxes are like the ones I saw this is a cigar that shouldn't be purchased blind.

So here's a pic of the box (@Stevieboy)

That's a pretty good review too, his flavour descriptions actually made a lot of sense.

I thought it seemed pretty honest, and a rather interesting initial smoke review. I do find all of his views are honest and have good flavour notes

It certainly whetted my palate for a box of these, JL being one of my favourite Cuban brands.
