  • Every Day Cigar.....Recommendations

Looking for any advice from you guys, I am looking for an every day smoke cigar. It can be CC or NC.

I would be interested to know what is your regular/consistent go to smoke that you turn to, when all else fails, or you can?t decide what to pick out from your collection

to answer that question vitola you realy need to try most brands yourself ,to see what you like or don't like we all have different tastes when it comes to cigars wether Cuban or non Cuban . Some members might agree with me on this one.

Tony N, I know what cigar marques I like - Trinidad, Partagas, Fuente, AB, HDM, My Father, ....I was interested in hearing what are members go to favourites, that don’t necessarily cost the earth or need to age for years yet give a consistent smoke.

I haven’t been smoking long enough to try every brand of cigar, and doubt I will be able to try every brand in my lifetime....was just interested to hear other opinions that was all

HUHC with a couple of years on them. Cheap, particularly if sourced overseas and a dependable short smoke.

I find having a wide & varied selection of smaller cigars means I can decide in the moment without following a pattern or being limited to one or two types. there aren?t any awful tres petit coronas coming out of Havana, in my opinion.

Trini Coloniales or RASS would be my pick. Partagas 898 I could smoke indefinitely 1-2 a day if I could afford it.

I don't smoke everyday, but a hell of a lot of my smokes are the cheaper end of Cubans. I think the vegueritos/ short panatelas size takes some beating. Quintero panatelas, RG panatelas extra and Por Larranaga panatelas can deliver 45 minutes of delicious tasting Cuban smoke at less than 2 quid a stick. The RG are readily available when in Spain and the other two are easy to source in various other places such as Geneva.

Thanks for the recommendations - a few confirm my own favourites such as Vegueros Entriempos, Trinidad Reyes, & Hoyo No2. But also has identified some other marques to look out for too such as the Partagas 898 and RASS - I probably wouldn't of considered these a few months back. the reviews are all very positive.....will certainly be added to my list - once again thanks

                          Value Stick

Great question, chico and one that nearly everyone asks at some point in their journey. Like most, it’s nice to have at the ready a stick that you can enjoy everyday without breaking the bank...saving your finest for those “so-called” special moments.

Like most of the familia Coro, I find that the majority of my reliable everyday sticks are non-cuban, mostly A. Fuete, the 858 being chief among ‘em, because of it’s consistency and low price - on average $4 over here. Don’t know the prices on your side of the globe, however. Anyway, don TJ often said that the 858 (N,M,C) was his favoirte “value” stick. I agree.

                          Good luck in your search.

I have a box of 858 sun grown in the humidor since January that I have been waiting to try but looks like the weather has changed so it's probably going to wait until spring.

Best enjoyed with some age on, but reasonably easy to find!
