A great sneak peak review of the new San Cristobal La Habana Prado - I also really enjoy this fellows reviews,

Well interesting review. Firstly, in my book all those pre releases are just a load of bull. Tons of them end up being fake, look at all that drama on the US FB groups.

Even if the cigar he just smoked was the real deal it was probably extremely young. I have heard that the first boxes of the Prado should hit some stores in October. It will be a pain in the butt to score a box of these as usual. I still haven?t sourced a box of the La Trova at a decent price.

I am definitely looking forward to this release but hey I love SCdLH. They will probably need a few years down but I?m pretty sure that they will become very good cigars in time.

Yeah, to be honest with you I share your opinion on the smoke doubtless been too young to smoke. I was just more interested in seeing the shape, and how it looked like in the flesh. Like sure still images are great, but moving ones? That's a whole new level of cigar porn!

The La Trova and the H.Upmann Connie B are my current white whales....

Ha ha. I agree with you. And that stick looks pretty good.

I will be receiving a couple of the Connie B soon. I?m not sure if I want a box since I love the A that much. The B is huge and I don?t smoke those 54 RG cigars that much. And I already have a ton of them with all those bloody REs that I have been buying, lol.

I would really like to get a box of the La Trova though.

‘Pre release’ .... dumb people buy those, and I usually like his reviews.

As for young cigars, yes they will need age but you can tell if if they have legs for aging or if they will be good cigars. An aged turd is still a turd.
