    For me ...

    It?s the D4

I?ve tried many singles over the years and have bought a few boxes in recent times ...

All have been less than the purported ?full bodied? sticks I yearn for.

Same here, for such a popular stick I have mostly been disappointed. I prefer the D5 which is not just a smaller version.

If you want a full bodied Partagas try a P2

PeeJay ... I find the P2s almost as ‘bland’.

I have a box of Partagas Petite Coronas Especiales on it’s way, just to try and experience that ‘Partagas kick’.

P2s bland and Bolis too damp, sounds like Oz is not a good place for cigar smokers

              try a serie g, oliva.

most underwhelming for me was a flor de oliva Churchill. i kept at it thinking it would pick up..it didn't

I agree the D4 is usually always boring and mild, dont get the hype myself. The P2 is still mild for me, but with some flavour in the second half.

@ PeeJay ... Yes it’s a hard road that I try to hoe.

So much hoping that you and other fellows of the leaf, can steer me straight.

Mind you, all of my sticks come from Pacific Cigars ....

And, ‘damp Bolivars’ seem to be my doing, at 65%

                            Tough crowd!!

P2?s have some thump young. D4?s have to confess I like although haven?t smoked one in probably near 5 years..... favouring then with age in and I have a box in deep sleep.

I live epi2?s just easy going, enjoyable unobtrusive smoke that suits my pallet. BUT i get it that they might not be enough for some and cost wise seem to carry a price that you can get ?more? for in other sticks.

I like the sun grown Nub in the smaller size, but have found every other Nub especially the bigger RG ones to be underwhelming.

Also the Olivia Series V Melanio in the size down from Robusto I found to be utterly ?meh?. Where as the Robusto is a gem!!!
