  • The motorcycle thread

Had a few little conversations about motorcycles on different threads, and we deserve a thread that smells of leather, petrol, and slightly singed rubber.

So I'll start it off. I've currently got an Ducati 899 Panigale, and the wife has an MV Agusta F3 800. I can't seem to upload photos onto here, so here are a couple of links of them on my instagram.

a biker here as well. Got a 1999 Yamaha Thundercat, my second bike after I passed my test, started on a GS500 suzuki and after a year got the cat and had that for 7 years, though currently its languishing in my garage as it needs a new rear shock and some carb work and I just can't justify the cost currently as im inbetween jobs.

though prior to that did lots of miles each year, did weekends in wales, yorkshire, the lakes and also up to oban and around that area, that scottish weekend I rode nearly 1700 glorious miles.

Love the MV and Ducati - one day i'll own a ducati, I think they are my favourite bike brand, I was lucky enough to babysit for 2 weeks a 2005 monster 1000ie with carbon fibre all over it, was a real hooning machine and the noise that thing made was just amazing only got 90miles out of a tank mind!

It's better on a motorbike. More visible and audible. Also with all the gear on and riding sensibly it's safer at times.

                  Great bike!
On the pics - insert the pic as you've been doing, then do three quick left clicks; this opens a box of options including for picking a size.

PS Clicking on the thumb nail enlarges the pic for viewers anyway

I have a 2000 ZX6R. Thought about changing it a few years back. Probably couldn't justify changing now

I used to have a gs 1200, ktm 990 adv, suzuki ts100, great fun. Currently have a ktm 690 enduro, lambretta tv175 in progress of restoration and the missus has a vespa twist n go.
