Just had a friend message to say that the last part of her trip will be taking her to Varadero. Would anyone know of any reputable shops that she can get me some cigars? Thanks
As far as I remember there are two casa del tabacs (or habanos), where one is just in the fork when turning into varadero Main Street when coming from the eastern hotel row. They had the normal stock when I was there in July last year, but now it?s Canadian ?Cuban holiday? holiday time, so they might have stocked up or be empty
Too bad she?s not in Havana, safest bet for good smokes was to send her by Alex to get 50 customs.
