That is a nice one! I've been looking at some and although there are a lot of nice looking solid tops around... I still really like having the glass top. I'd be constantly opening it otherwise to check the humidity and just to look at them [emoji14]

I just got a cheap germanus 30 count glass top and bought an equally cheap digital hygro. Neither are accurate, but the digital one seems to hold steady and I'm using boveda packs so it seems to be working out alright. I sealed around the glass and some of the bigger gaps with some silicon.

I wouldn't recommend anyone starting out with less than a 50 stick humi. They are easier to maintain more consistent humidification & 30 sticks will keep well & well as a few more. don't forget the count is really based on PC/corona size so if you have a few larger stix, your max total will go down.

Yep... Found that out the hard way [emoji849]. I only thought I'd be keeping a handful at a time. But with a few sample packs, they soon add up and there are always more I fancy lol. I think a 50 would suit me pretty well tbh. Allow me to keep a range of singles, as well as a box or pack or two

Interesting that they?re easier to maintain, I think I need to have a read up on exactly how they work before putting in a decent size order. Currently have 7 in my basket and plan on keeping them in a Tupperware pop with a Boveda pack as they will be gone by the end of summer.

I wouldn't panic about buying one anytime soon, I've not picked one up yet and a scuba has stopped me buying several needlessly, I do want one but that's more for display reasons than any real advantage.

ye its all personal preference and experiences.

i bought a small one for keeping 12 or so at a time, only smoking and few here and there and replacing them.

then i got into it and bough a large one - filled that up quick with a mix of C & NC and used the 1st one for singles

when that got crowded, i got another to keep cubans seperate from NC's

ive plenty of room (for now) in the old singles and room in the new one for some nice cubans ill mostly get from here - works for me at the minute

if i start buying boxes, ill need to rethink... and ive my eye on a few lol

I?m going to stick to the Tupperware/Boveda packs for now but I?d like to order a sample with 2 of say 5 different Robustos, smoke one now and let the others age until next spring/summer and see if I can notice a difference.

Thanks, I wouldn?t recommend the La Invicta but the Quinteros was a good budget Robusto.
