  • Christmas Day cigars?

Has everyone planned what they are smoking on Christmas Day? I imagine some quality, aged and rare cigars will be put to the flame.

I?m not sure I?ll smoke anything special but I am planning on walking to my parent?s house instead of driving so that I can squeeze something in for 45 minutes, weather permitting of course.

Christmas Day looks like it?s going to be dry down here in Devon and I didn?t actually bring many smokes but I did bring the smokes gifted to me in the Churchill bomb (RYJ Churchill, H.Upmann Anejados) as well as my SS RYJ Corona from 2006. Hopefully, the Churchill will meet a fiery end!

Had a couple of things in mind, but after all the plaudits the ERDM Choix du Roi have received, I'm going with one of those.

I will be at my BIL so it will depend on the weather. Assuming that it is mild and dry, (I definitely can't smoke inside) I will smoke the largest cigar I can find and will take my time over smoking it.

Maybe a small one in the morning, and then a Talism?n in the evening! I was going to smoke my Sir David, but this may be my New Year smoke! Saying that I plan on smoking many of the bad boys in the space between too!
Only the impossible is worth the effort.

There’s some great choices so far.

I hope once the dust settles on the day I’ll be able to sit down outside with something sizeable. Maybe the first of my pair of Montecristo Dantes.

I expect to hit a Fundy or a Montes Especiales (if I can rely on finding one that doesn't seem to be clogged ;-)

Not decided what to take...but will have to be a short smoke rather than a nice long relaxing one

Same. Christmas Day is not one for a long relaxing smoke. But hopefully there's time after.

Will definately be sparking up Christmas Day and also Boxing day. I've got a few choices and can't decide.

Christmas day with my Dad he will have a Hoyo Petit Robusto, I have a choice of Ramon Allones Robusto, Bolivar Belicosos Finos or the Royal Corona, Hoyo Epi No2, or a RyJ Wide Churchill, or an H Upmann Mag 54.

Boxing day will be what I don't smoke on Christmas day.

27th I have the boys coming over for a WISH night (Whisky In Someone's House). We do this every couples of months were we have a few bottles to drink from whilst enjoying a firepit out the backdoor. This year I threw in a curve ball and said we should bring a bottle we have never tried before which will be quite difficult given many of us have been to the whisky festivals. So that should be interesting.

I was down in London in the summer and popped into Sautter's cigars after meeting a cracking gentleman outside who gave me a recommendation. Sautter's own Petty John Robusto which has a ring gauge of about 60. So looking forward to sparking that up on the wish night.

                    Have a great Chrismas everyone.

                          Christmas Day cigars?

Siglo VI for me! I've got a RASS for later on. Not tried either yet so I'm quite excited.

Merry Christmas everyone and happy smoking

Im unlikely to get the chance. Visiting 3 different houses and giving lifts and doing a double back as well. Its like that film Four Christmas's

Also unlikely to get the opportunity. I would probably go for a Topes, given the chance.
