Has anyone ever heard of or even better smoked one of these?

I?ve just tried putting my cigar preferences into a search and it suggests others you may like, this came up as the number one cigar matched to my preferred taste profile and they are cheap as chips too. I will have to give this a go but it would be nice to hear from the guys more experienced in NCs first.

What do the reviews say?

I didn’t find much in the way of reviews but what I did find seemed positive enough

Is that a proprietary search thingy or just Google? If the first, then what's it called? Sounds interesting.

I didn’t name the website in the OP as I wasn’t sure if it would break any rules but seen as though you ask it’s called cigarsense. As far as I can tell they basically have a database of the taste profiles of many cigars and you put in the cigars you’ve smoked and enjoyed and they use that to map your preferences to other cigars.

Not sure if its any good in terms of suggestions, with all things like this I’m always cynical about who may pay to influence those suggestions, but it’s free (with a premium option) so it’s worth a go.

So long as they're not selling cigars online from offshore then there's no harm in naming it

I don?t believe they do sell cigars PeeJay, they just make recommendations, based on flavours/aromas you like. I?ve mentioned the site before in another thread and have tried a few of their recommendations which have been positive

"The El Galan and Do?a Nieves brands were developed for two reasons: to honor the traditions of my family and to offer a product that appeals to the most sophisticated smoker. Three generations of my ancestors upheld the honor of working the blessed lands of Cuba’s Central Region. Today, I carry on their legacy from the rich and fertile soil of Estel?, Nicaragua, where my blends pay homage to my family’s long and storied history in tobacco."

Nope, never heard of them either

Hi,
I am a fan of Casa de Garcia. The tabac shop I frequent in Ibiza sell the robusto, short robusto and toro. They sell at around ?1.20 a stick and I bring back a few dozen. They are a decent smoke for the price. The toro are a fairly mild start and as you enter the second third it offers a bit more punch with notes of spice and a sweetness. The final third is darker with more wood and some treacle. I have actually just taken delivery of a couple of their maduro belicosos and I am giving them time in the humi for a few days. Overall a decent budget smoke,no frills but very enjoyable.
BAJEEES? WE DON NEENO STEENKIN BAJEEES!

Good to see someone smokes and enjoys them, to be honest I’d forgotten about this so I’m pleased you’ve reminded me.

I need to grab a bundle, if they suit my tastes at that price then I’ll save a fortune!
