The taste. I just find them to be really dry tasting, but of dirt, and (this will sound fucking odd) but they remind me of melons (strange acidic note) and I HATE that taste! Give me the nutty/coffee H. Upmann, or the creamy spiced Hoyo, or the funky spices of Punch any day ...

Well apparently those Gurkhas are the bestest cigars in the world ....
Bit seriously, I’m open to trying new smokes, and rarely does a load NC singles come around that I can sample to see what I do and do not like.
as for Partagas, I think I’ve given them all the chances in the world now...
