          It’s called Churchill’s or Prime Minister’s dropping my friend. The man himself had a constant flow of shirts and suits running through Saville Row for the sake of droppings and subsequent burn holes

            I've always found cigar ash to be so light that it drops off clothing without leaving a mark, even on white fabric. if you notice it of course.
