I've seen a few people using the small Pelican cases, slightly cheaper than the Xicar range if I'm not mistaken and absolutely bomb proof. I'll be looking to get one or two in the coming months and i believe you can buy the foam inserts to go inside them too.

Mike those boxes are bullet proof but very bulky when going on hols. These days, I just use an old cigar box with a zip lock bag inside. If going for more than a week add a Boveda 65%.

I always travel light. One never knows what one can find when visiting another city. I take either my 10 count or my 15 count one with me which I pack into my backpack. When I go to the US I usually take both since I always bring gifts for my friends there.
