Well, its been a very busy start to the year for me and, i haven't had much chance to have a decent smoke. When i do however i find myself reaching for this stick time and time again,it is so consistent and the sweet dessert flavours seem to dance on your palate for hours after you finish it,so...i decided to do a review

    1st third...25 mins

I punch cut the end of this really dark looking stick, the sheen from the oils glistening in the light, after the first few puffs the predominant flavours are dark chocolate cinnamon and black pepper, the cigar produces loads of smoke and the oily residue that sits on my lips is a chocolate lovers dream.

    2nd Third...25 mins

Coming into the 2nd third the main flavours are still chocolate and black pepper...the cinnamon has been toned down a little and a sudden burst of coffee and cream joins the beautiful chocolatey peppery goodness! This also adds to the oily flavours on my lips...i swear...you have to check that this is actually a cigar you are smoking and not some high end dessert painstakingly crafted in layers by Heston Blumenthal.

    Last Third...20mins

The final third is pretty much the same as the 2nd third chocolate heaven, black pepper and cream...the coffee has been toned down however and the cinammon is no longer there, instead a leather flavour and hints of earth are added to the mix which makes for an outstanding finish.

    Final thoughts

These are magic! A beautifully sweet cigar, the chocolatey oils that stay on your lips can still be tasted 2 hours later. If you haven't tried one of these, you are missing out. I recommend them

Thank for the time in posting up this review! Been an age since we’ve had some of these, and I especially enjoy the NC ones to help navigate the murky waters of the new world! I shall add some to my next order, sound like a very enjoyable smoke!
Only the impossible is worth the effort.

Agreed great sticks and the best cao. I recommend the box press version. For some reason even better. Tastes like nutella to me.

I had only one of these before, but remember them as very full flavored and sweet, though can't remember black pepper notes. Some pictures would be great as well!
