Ten year anniversary of UKCF - eleven years on!!!

I'm open to suggestions. What shall we do, where shall we do it?

I'm immediately going to suggest a couple of things:

1. London. Yes it's a drag for our northern friends, but it has good lines of travel for all, cheap hotels, and lots of potential venues.
2. June. The weather (touch wood) has been pretty great in June for a few years, lets cross our fingers and try for June.
3. Budget. We cannot all afford to go to the Wellesley, so we need to use a little imagination for the right venue - Doggets where we had before isn't exactly stellar, but it did the job and was very cheap with food included.

I agree with all 3 points, and i would certainly be looking to make this trip and meet a lot of your ugly mugs

Sadly, as i am a Northern Barbarian I do not have a clue for venue

Dude, ?10 a pint/bottle. I grew up in the heart of the Black Country, I'll take you to my local and you'll get half way hammered for a tenner lol

The Corinthian is lovely, the wife and I were there a couple of weeks ago but as we weren?t staying, there was a minimum spend of ?35 a head. If it?s all day, that probably won?t be an issue but I agree, pub with a garden would also work well.

Good pub with garden is best for the summer i think. Jjs etc is great in the winter but paying through the roof for drinks and having to buy cigars rather than byo is a real pain.

Unfortunately im unlikely to make it if its a Saturday as i will probably be at cricket that time of year. But i would like to make it if possible.
