Still one of my favourite NCs, despite the massive size...

This was the second one, i think the first lasted about a day after it landed
I try and let the second COTM rest for a year or so before i smoke it just to see!

It is a beast of a size, and i'm not a fan of the right angles, but it does taste great!

Thanks again for the COTM, it's odd but i have found the NC's more exciting for COTM's as it's always promising something new, and usually something you would not normally reach for!

Exactly my thinking. Though I haven't smoked many CCs yet either, so that still applies for me for CCs and NCs. The downside with the CCs in the COTM is, that they are usually not aged enough, so you often get a rather fresh one, that will taste fantastic in 3 years time, but is a bit 'meh' right now.

I forgot I had a box of these and so ended up buying another one last month! Quite happy with the situation though!

Exactly, had some real floral notes and a citrus edge, which i only really find in La Flor De Cano - would love a bundle or two of these!

Thank you again for the experience

The chap I bought them from wouldn?t be convinced to part with the full bundle. He has since been drummed out of a few FB groups for blatant flipping and suspect photos. Sadly I think he had some $ worries.... which I would wish on no-one. He was true to his word and fair on pricing when I dealt with him only a few months previous .....

Ah that is sad to hear - i mean i understand if he was drummed out for flipping and suspect sales, but it's never nice to hear about someone down on their luck - hope things have picked up for them!

I thought these facebook groups were all shameless flipping? Im on a few just for curiosity and it seems that pretty much everyone is at it. I mean, if people want them and someones selling, who cares? Personally if i was buying from a flipper i would ask myself, hmmm if he can get them at a cheaper price why not just go to his source rather than paying a middle man. Theres so many places to get cigars cheaper. I guess it's just taking advantage of the ignorant.

This tale involves some Americans who got quite cross with each other. I could leave it at that and you’d likely understand.

But here’s the tale....there were some cigars bought well at an auction and sold on at a handsome price - his privilege - but he posted using same image as the auction, which in turn prompted a question about whether said individual actually had the cigars etc, which then in turn led to an unwise response... which wasn’t wholly truthful about the provenance of the image or location of the sticks.

It was all a bit much if the truth be told as I know a few folk who had dealt with him in good faith and he delivered. Perhaps unwise selling the items on so swiftly and without using his own images. However, as I recall (and I may be inaccurate) someone was more than willing to pay the asking price and got the cigars...so it was all a bit OTT.... but maybe that’s just some Americans and Facebook combining to best effects....

I was hoping for duelling pistols at dawn on the Whitehouse lawn, but sadly just got a lot of ranty posts on a Facebook page ....
